UST IN: German Police Shoot Gunman Near Israeli Consulate

German police shot and killed a gunman on Thursday who opened fire near central Munich’s Nazi-era documentation center and the Israeli consulate, as confirmed by the Bavarian interior minister.

State Interior Minister Joachim Herrmann reported that police responded with armed force against the assailant, who was carrying a rifle and had fired multiple shots. The gunman succumbed to his injuries.
