Joe Ajaero, the President of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), has arrived at the Headquarters of the Intelligence Response Team (IRT) for questioning related to a terrorism investigation.
The police had previously issued an invitation for Ajaero to appear on August 20 at 10 a.m. to address allegations concerning his potential involvement in terrorism financing, cybercrime, subversion, criminal conspiracy, and treasonable felony. Due to scheduling conflicts, Ajaero was unable to attend the initial meeting but committed to appearing today.
He entered the IRT premises at 10:17 a.m. alongside prominent figures, including Femi Falana, SAN, Marshal Abubakar, and Deji Adeyanju, as well as other senior NLC officials.
The IRT operates under the Force Intelligence Bureau of the Nigeria Police Force. Further details will be provided as the story develops
