Abuja, August 8, 2024 – Authorities in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have launched an investigation following the discovery of a deceased individual dressed in women’s clothing along the Katampe-Mabushi expressway.
According to a statement from the FCT Police Command, a distress call was received early Thursday morning reporting the presence of a motionless “woman” on the roadside. Responding detectives discovered that the individual was actually a man wearing female attire, with no identifying documents found on the body.
The unidentified person was immediately transported to the Maitama District Hospital, where medical staff confirmed the individual had passed away.
FCT Police Commissioner Bennett Igweh has ordered a thorough and discreet investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding this mysterious death.
