In a move to enforce a cleaner environment, the Lagos State government has arrested six individuals for openly urinating on a rail track in front of the Nigeria Army Shopping Complex in Oshodi.
The arrests were made as part of the state’s ongoing #ZeroToleranceLagos and #CleanerLagos initiatives, according to a statement shared on X.com by the Minister of Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab.
“6 defaulters were earlier today arrested for open urination on rail track in front of Nigeria Army Shopping Complex, Arena, Oshodi,” Wahab wrote on Saturday.
The crackdown on public indecency underscores the Lagos State government’s commitment to maintaining a cleaner and more sanitary environment across the metropolis.
