President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to depart Abuja on Wednesday for the United Kingdom, where he will embark on a two-week vacation.

According to a statement from his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, this vacation is part of the President’s annual leave. The statement, titled “President Tinubu Goes on Annual Leave,” noted that the President intends to use this time for a working vacation and to reflect on his administration’s economic reforms.

“He will return to the country after the leave expires,” the statement confirmed.

Sources close to the President have indicated that this trip is consistent with his annual leave schedule. This journey follows Tinubu’s recent visit to London, where he met with King Charles III just two weeks prior.

This trip marks Tinubu’s 27th foreign destination since taking office approximately 16 months ago and his fourth visit to the UK. His travel history includes multiple trips to various countries, such as Equatorial Guinea, London (four times), and several visits to nations like Kenya, South Africa, and the United States, among others.
