In a move to bolster its workforce, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC Ltd) has announced plans for a major recruitment drive, the company confirmed on Friday.
NNPC Ltd spokesperson Olufemi Soneye stated that the hiring initiative will encompass a variety of positions across the energy firm’s diverse departments. “NNPC Ltd is pleased to announce that we are currently hiring for multiple positions across various departments. We are seeking talented and dedicated individuals to join our team,” Soneye said.
Interested applicants have been directed to the NNPC Ltd careers page for details on the application process. However, Soneye acknowledged that the influx of applicants has led to some technical difficulties, with the careers page experiencing slow load times. “Our techs are working diligently to rectify the problem,” he assured, adding that the application deadline remains August 20, 2024.
This recruitment drive is seen as a significant step for the NNPC Ltd, which fully transformed into a limited company in 2022. Industry observers suggest this may be the company’s largest hiring exercise since that transition.
