In a candid interview with psychologist Jordan Peterson, Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, has opened up about a personal experience involving his transgender child. Musk revealed that he was “essentially tricked” into granting permission for his child, formerly known as Xavier, to undergo puberty blockers.

Musk’s comments came as he discussed his decision to relocate SpaceX’s headquarters from California to Texas, citing the state’s new legislation, Assembly Bill 1955, which allows schools to keep a child’s sexual orientation or gender identity confidential from their parents.

“It’s evil. You’re taking kids who are far below the age of consent,” Musk said, arguing that adults can manipulate children struggling with their identity. He disclosed that he was told his child might commit suicide if he didn’t sign the necessary documents, a claim he now believes was a “lie.”

Musk expressed his regret, stating, “I lost my son, essentially. They call it ‘deadnaming’ for a reason. The reason they call it ‘deadnaming’ is because your son is dead, so my son, Xavier, is dead, killed by the woke mind virus.”

The Tesla CEO’s comments come as a preprint study published by the Mayo Clinic earlier this year found that puberty blockers can lead to irreversible long-term fertility issues in boys, contradicting previous claims that the effects are reversible.

Musk’s decision to relocate SpaceX’s headquarters is not a spontaneous reaction, as he had previously warned the California governor that he would take such action if the controversial bill was signed into law.

During the interview, Musk made it clear that he is determined to “destroy the woke mind virus” and believes those promoting the use of puberty blockers should “go to prison.”

This personal experience has evidently had a profound impact on Musk, and his strong criticism of the California law and the use of puberty blockers for transgender youth has sparked a wider debate on this sensitive issue.
