Kaduna, Nigeria – In a dramatic incident early Monday morning, a Nigerian Air Force helicopter crashed in Tami village, located in Kaduna State’s Igabi Local Government Area.
The crash occurred around 5:00 am, sending shockwaves through the local community.
According to eyewitness accounts, the helicopter was on a routine operational flight when it experienced technical difficulties that led to the crash landing. Fortunately, the pilot was able to execute emergency procedures effectively, emerging from the wreckage largely unscathed.
“We heard a loud noise and rushed to the scene. We were surprised and relieved to see the pilot alive,” recounted a local villager who witnessed the aftermath of the incident.
