Peter Okoye Undergoes Hair Transplant Procedure in Istanbul

Nigerian singer Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, has revealed that he is currently undergoing a hair transplant treatment in Istanbul, Turkey.

Okoye shared the news with his fans on his Instagram story, captioning the post “Say goodbye to baldness.” In the video, he showed himself at the MedHair Clinic in Istanbul, where he is being treated by a doctor.

“You guys know that I’ve been uncomfortable about it,” Okoye said in the video, referring to his hair loss. “But see the before and after of the magic this guy is about to do.”

The singer explained that the extraction part of the procedure has already been completed, with around 2,400 grafts harvested. “I feel better 100%, just to look good for you guys,” he added.

On Thursday, Okoye provided an update on the progress of the first day of his hair transplant, posting a photo with the caption “Day 1. It is well.”

This news comes just a few months after fellow Nigerian singer and producer Young Jonn also underwent a successful hair transplant surgery in a bid to reclaim his receding hairline.

Okoye’s decision to undergo the procedure in Istanbul aligns with the growing trend of Africans and Nigerians in particular seeking medical treatments and cosmetic procedures in Turkey. The country has become a popular destination for hair transplants, with its skilled doctors and relatively lower costs compared to other parts of the world.

With the transplant process now underway, fans will eagerly await the final results and Okoye’s transformation as he aims to address his hair loss and regain his desired look.
