Saminu, a fortune teller by profession, had a diverse clientele that spanned across various local government areas, states, and even neighboring regions. The victim, a 20-year-old woman, had approached Saminu after having a disturbing dream about her mother being a witch. The Gombe State Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Buhari Abdullahi, confirmed the arrest and allegations.
The victim’s husband, Bashiru Bello, reported the case. The victim claimed she was pregnant for four months but suffered a miscarriage. The police have taken her to the hospital for examination, and the case is under legal scrutiny.
