Bobrisky Makes Court Appearance in Lagos

Renowned social media personality and cross-dresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has made his presence known at the Federal High Court in Lagos as he faces allegations of money laundering and naira abuse.

The charges against Bobrisky, consisting of six counts related to money laundering and abuse of the national currency, were filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Thursday.

Scheduled to appear before the vacation judge, Justice Abimbola Awogboro, Bobrisky is expected to enter his plea in response to the charges.
Following his detention by the EFCC since Wednesday night, the controversial figure was unable to secure release through the administrative bail offered to him on Thursday.
