The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has announced the dates and venues for the computer-based test (CBT) as part of the recruitment process for the Nigerian Police Force.
In a statement released by the Police Public Relations Officer of the FCT Police Command, it was disclosed that the CBT exams will be held on the 5th and 6th of March at nine designated centers in the nation’s capital, recognized by the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB).
This announcement follows the assurance given by the Chairman of the Police Service Commission (PSC) and former Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, regarding a merit-based recruitment process that adheres to the Federal Character Commission’s requirement of equal representation.
According to the PSC’s Head of Media and Publicity, successful applicants, numbering 171,956, have already started receiving invitations for the next stage, which involves the CBT. The FCT Police Command has taken necessary measures to ensure the security of all applicants during the tests by deploying adequate security personnel at each examination center.

All shortlisted applicants are advised to report to their designated test centers as communicated to them through their JAMB portals. The FCT Police Command has ensured comprehensive security arrangements at all approved CBT centers in the FCT to guarantee the safety of all participants.
